Red Creek Jasper Bracelet is made with Cherry Creek Jasper beads. How does a jasper receive its name? For the most part it is due to the location or appearance where most jasper’s will be named. In this case, the stone was first called Cherry Creek Jasper. It was found in China near the Cherry Creek mine, outside of which runs the Red River. Therefore you can see how Red Creek Jasper took it’s name. Now onto this bracelet. First of all, this is a dramatic swing away from most of the bracelets at Elementas Jewelry. However as you can see it was a fun change because of the unusual shape and color these beads. I love working with metal, but these beads really knock my socks off! Check out all the colors and patterning going on. What’s not to love? In between each of the 3/4″ by 3/8″ inch bead are 3 mm gold fill round beads. Gold Filled Toggle clasp completes the picture.
