Antique Sterling Set is quite a unique story. This matched set, recycled from a previous Victorian piece is very dignified. Sometimes I will buy Sterling Silver from a jewelry store. Mostly it’s objects that people bring in to trade for custom jewelry. This creates a unique opportunity for me to buy used Silver that I can melt down for my water cast pieces, like Sterling Supreme Green Pendant. If I don’t melt down the Silver, I often will cut pieces out to incorporate into new jewelry. In short this is what has occurred here.
Notice the embossed design in the bracelet and earrings. The delicate patterning shows time-worn elegance. Not only does it look Victorian but it also shares a resemblance to modern day sculpted wallpaper that has unique markings. Finally, the simplicity of both bracelet and earrings make them irresistible. The bracelet is one that can be adjusted to fit small to medium sized wrists. The earrings measure from the top of the ear wire to the bottom, 1-1/4 inches.
